SPECIFICATIONS
The Agilent HP 8654A is a solid-state portable signal source providing a sinusoidal RF output signal from 10 to 520 MHz at power levels of +10 to -130 dBm (+8 to -130 dBm with Option 003) into a 50 ohm load.  Amplitude and/or frequency modulated outputs are obtainable; the modulating signal may be selected from an internal or external source.  Provides a calibrated output level over the frequency range of 10MHz to 520MHz in 6 bands. Frequency accuracy is ±2% after 30 minute warm-up Stability is 0.002% after a 1 hr warm-up. Internal oscillators provide both AM and FM at 400Hz and 1MHz. Front-panel meter accurately indicates AM percentage from 0 to 70%. Output power range is from +13 dBm to -100 dBm with an accuracy of ±1 dB. Level flatness is ±1 dB. AM modulation has a range of 0 to 80% with less than 4% distortion.FM peak deviation has a range of 0 to greater than 0.1%.
