The 11848A Phase Noise Interface is a part of the 3048A Automated Phase Noise Measurement System. The 11848A is the heart of that system. The 11848A demodulates and amplifies the phase noise of a carrier and external analyzers measure the resulting baseband signal. System software then characterizes and outputs data in a choice of output formats.
